Easy Area is an app designed for calculating land area, distance, and perimeters on both maps and images. It offers a user-friendly interface and includes a built-in unit converter with various Indian land units.

There are two methods available to create measurements:

<ol>
 <li>Using Maps: This option allows you to search for the location of your land/field or find your current location and mark the border of the region for which you want to calculate the area or distance. The app automatically calculates the area without requiring any prior measurements.</li>
 <li>Importing Photos: With this feature, you can import a photo of your land, field, or any other structure with a randomly shaped polygon. Simply draw over the imported photo to perform measurements. You need to provide the distance for the first line created in order to set the scale ratio for the image. - This feature is useful when you already have distance measurements of your land boundaries done by yourself or a regional Patvari (Government Accountant) and need to calculate the area based on those measurements. - Sketch a rough outline and input the measured lengths of the boundaries to get real-time area calculations.</li>

The calculated area can be converted into any unit. The unit converter includes Imperial Units, Metric Units, and major Indian Units commonly used for land records in different states.

 <li>Point-to-Point Distances: Displays distances between each line created on the map.</li>
 <li>Manual Distances: Allows manual input of land border measurements. Tap on the distance label of a line to manually change its length. This feature is currently available only when measuring on photos.</li>
 <li>Multiple Layers: Enables measuring multiple areas on the same map.</li>
 <li>Save and Load: Allows saving and loading of calculated measurements.</li>
 <li>Sharing Area Link: Enables sharing a link to your saved area. Users with the link can view and update the area calculations.</li>
 <li>Infinite Zooming and Scrolling: Offers standard gestures for zooming and scrolling on the map.</li>
 <li>Easy Tools: Provides easy-to-use tools for creating, updating, and deleting points on the map.
 <ul>
 <li>- Single tap to add a new point.</li>
 <li>- Tap to select a point, drag, and drop it to change its position easily.</li>
 <li>- Double tap on any line to add a new point at that position.</li>
 </ul>
 </li>
 <li>Separate Area and Distance Measuring Units: Allows instant calculation with different units for area and distance measurements.</li>
</ul>

The app includes a wide range of major Indian units such as Bigha, Biswa, Aankadam, Shatak, Perch, Rod, Vaar (Gujarat), hectare, Acre, Are, Guntha, Marla, Cent, ground, and many more.
